Sandy Soto, FNP-CGastroenterologist
Sandy Soto joined Texas Digestive Specialists (TDS) in August of 2025. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2018 and later earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner in 2023, both from Texas A&M University. She holds her Family Nurse Practitioner Certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and maintains active licensure as a Registered Nurse and Vocational Nurse.
Sandy has extensive clinical experience in gastroenterology, internal medicine, and medical-surgical nursing. Her background includes performing comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses, and developing individualized treatment plans. She has managed care for patients recovering from bariatric surgery, kidney transplants, orthopedic and spinal procedures, as well as those with complex medical conditions. Sandy has also served as a charge nurse and preceptor, mentoring staff, supporting team development, and ensuring high-quality patient care across diverse healthcare settings.
Sandy is fluent in English and Spanish and is available for consultation in our McAllen office.
